do you mean fine hair or thin hair? i think thin refers to the density and fine refers to the actual size of the hair strand. i have fine hair, but thick density. sorry i couldn't actually answer your question

I have fine hair but my density is medium/normal I think but I never fully straighten so I don't really see my hair w/o some sort if volume.

Fine hair is in reference to the individual strand size, the strands are thin but density is how thick or thin your hair is. Someone with fine hair can have really thick density.

I style my hair to make it appear thicker. I never do bone straight because I would feel bald lol.

Maybe I didn't term it correctly. I normally call it thin because it's not thick by any means, and yes, it is relaxed. I have complained to stylist before that my hair is thin and they always tell me no your hair is thick. It sure doesn't feel or look thick.:nono:

Very confusing. :perplexed

Fine AND thin. My siggy pic is flat ironed hair. My castor oil mix seems to be making my hair thicker...I haven't been using it long enough to entirely credit it for my newly found thickness though.

Hair Texture Understanding your Hair Texture

FINE HAIR
Feels thin and lacks natural body and bounce. There may be areas where you can see the scalp through your hair. It can be either straight or wavy and is typical of Caucasian hair types

Please Note: Do not confuse lots of fine hair with medium or coarse textured hair. If the shaft of the individual hair feels thin and delicate, and lacks body, even if there are many of them, then the correct category for your hair type is ‘Fine’.

Yes, my hair is both fine and low density. It looks just like yours when straightened with a few passes, and i am natural.:perplexed
I can sometimes make my hair fuller by using less products in my hair.
I am always on the lookout for products that promise thickness or volume. Cassia worked a little, but only for a few weeks.
