Dear all,
I am New to the forum and I am confident that I will get full support from you girls as I decided to start my hair journey.

I have a question, I feel my hair doesn't like conditioner, and I feel it more silky and softer with only a shampoo. :perplexed

Dose anyone experience the same?

Btw, excuse my English as I'm not native English speaker

Thanks,

Hi and welcome!

If your hair feels smooth and silky that's a great shampoo! However, conditioner's purpose is to bring your hair's ph down and smooth out the hair strand as a result of the higher level ph of the shampoo. Even if it's just a rinse out conditioner and not a deep treatment. Healthy hair is PH balanced hair, relaxed or natural. :yep:

I always follow up my shampoo with a deep conditioner but that's just me. I will say like I tell everyone else, do what works for you though!

I've heard of some conditioning first and shampooing after. I've never tried it but it could work for you.

I haven't experienced that unless it is a cheap conditioner. My hair doesn't like Suave or V05 or things like that. My hair isn't crazy about instant conditioners but it likes deep conditioners.

What conditioner are you using?

I wanna know what shampoo you are using OP? Creme of nature red bottle used to make my hair feel that way. Too bad they changed the formula

Hi all, thank you sooooo much for your reply... I used different conditioners but all same :(
And i noticed another thing, my hair became very very dry and whatever hair lotion or hair oil i apply to my hair it doesn't work.... :(
I don't know what to do :(

I could never skip conditioner. Shampoo alone would leave my hair super tangly and dry. I use conditioner after every shampoo and deep condition every few washes. At the very least I think you should do a pre shampoo treatment or hair mask to prevent your hair from being stripped.
