Couple of questions for you ladies. Ok I tried the color showers from round brush... didn't get the results I was hoping for So I was wondering it's b/c I'm now natural Idk my hair just won't pick up the color? It's only showing on my tips... not what I wanted. anyway, I was considering using a hair color kit like ganier nutrisse or loreal. My hair color is kinda looking blah right now. So is it better to use a semi permanent color? and if so, why? What's so different about a semi than a permanent? I would really like any advice or info... I know I will take good care of it, dc-ing, etc. I just need a starting point.

Semi-permanent is peroxide and ammonia free. It's not as harsh on the hair as a permanent (and semi lasts about 28 shampoos). If you really want to go with a permanent, I'd recommend the Garnier brand that's specifically designed for ladies starting with dark hair. I just bought a couple of boxes of semi-permanent and toying with the idea of dyeing sometime soon.
