hair color question

Hi ladies and gents
I went to the my hair dresser and got a wash set. well she said the my hair color was so light that i needed to put a rinse in it the same color so that my hair would be shiny. is this true. i reallly don't wat to color because i already relax that would mean more promblems with my hair. I also did a deep condtioner treatment with sabastions penetrate. which turned good.

I think Tracy could shed some light on this. But I would think that a CLEAR rinse would provided shine and conditioning for your naturally light hair.
