Can you use a clarifying shampoo even when you color? Will it will strip the color out of your hair?

Thanks in advance.

I believe that some are specially formulated NOT to strip hair color, such as Kenra. If you go to their website, you'll see that the Clarifying Poo if used in conjunction with the Color Maintenance Poo, is suppose to create vibrancy and shine to color treated hair. So maybe it just all depends on what brand you use.

IA. Look for the ones specifically made for color treated hair.

I think it does. Look for shampoos designed for color treated hair.

ITA and be careful of shampoos with sodium lauryl/laureth sulfates, these are harsh detergents that will fade color over time.

My hair is color treated ..its jet black now but ive been golden blonde, auburn, highlights and it didnt fade my color I use Suave daily clarifying shampoo every week....it may depend on what type of color u use
