Hair care superstitions

(I hope this hasn't been posted yet)

I was thinking about some of the superstitions I heard and used growing up and thought I'd share and let everybody share theirs.

1. If you cut your hair during a full moon your hair will grow.

2. If you cut your hair and put it in a Bible your hair will grow.

3. If a man styles your hair/plays in it, it will grow.

4. If a pregnant woman does your hair it will fall out.

I know crazy right?

if you let people play in your it'll fall out.

if you airdry your hair it'll rot.

if you cut your hair it'll grow

-if you let 2 people do you hair at the same time, someone will die.
-you shouldn't cut your hair in march b/c it will not grow back

Don't pluck out your gray hairs or 2 will grow in it's place.
A pregnant woman doing your hair makes it grow(Just heard this recently)
Cutting your hair makes it grow
Cutting a baby boy's hair when he turns 1 gives him so kind of special "new growth"
You shouldn't wear your hair out in March

This one makes sense because March is sooo windy and it'll tear up those poor ends!

If you wear your hair out all the time you are more likely to catch headlice...don't perm your hair during that time of the month it won't take.

If you cut your hair before you turn 1 it wil grow slower.

1. If someone starts doing your hair and another person finishes it, the younger of the two will die.

2. Hair that comes out in the comb or brush should NEVER be thrown in the garbage. You should burn it. God forbid that a bird finds it and takes it away... you'll go bald for sure.
