LOL I've been going to the same lady on 233rd in the Bronx since I was 12. I learned how to braid my own hair and do my own extensions so I don't go anymore, but I send all my friends to her. 
Her shop is at 709 East 233rd, between Byron Avenue and White Plains Road, closer to Byron. It's right next to an African market. Purple awning says Hair Braiding. They sell those African movies there too.
