Growing hair with Nioxin product?

I've been hearing many different things about it. I'm not sure if the name is right, but a lot of people have been raving about how fast their hair grew with the product.

I haven't, but a friend of mine did and it really helped her. She was having hair loss from stress and already has thin hair. She has used it for more than a year.

Wow!! What if you aren't having hair loss? Could you still use the product?

I use it. I've never had hairloss before using but Nioxin products make make my hair thick. I like the way scalp feel after using the shampoo and conditioner. Almost feels like I'm bald...

if that makes any since.

I totally understand what you mean. Your scalp feels soooo light as if there is no hair on your head. I love this line. I alternate it throughout the week (daily washer). When I first started using it I didn't like the way that my hair felt. But after speaking to people about it they assured me that the dry, tangly feeling would go away and, sure enough, after using it several times my hair didn't feel dry and tangly. I like to use the cleanser and the scalp therapy atleast 2 to 3 times/week.

I used to use it a few years ago, but it made my hair very dry and tangly, although it did give me a little growth along the hairline, which is what I initially used it for. I've since noticed some changes in their line of products, but I'm not so sure I would want to use the shampoo, as the detergents in it are a little too harsh for my scalp and hair. I understand the purpose is to make sure hair and scalp are squeaky clean, so the companion products could do its job, but even the conditioner, didn't give me the slip I was desiring. In seeking a nice clarifying shampoo, this might be a good choice if you were doing C/O. HTH

Sundayschild, the shampoo cost me around $9-$11 a bottle depending where you purchase.

I used the Bionutient Protectives Shampoo and Scalp Therapy on my daughters scalp trying to combat a reaction she experienced from using Surge. It does seems to work some on her flaky scalp condition.
