I stopped using it because the shedding i got from it was out of control.

^^ same here. got an inch in 6 weeks. but alot of hair came out on the wash and is visibly thinner. i was crying. im not using it anymore. it is said that u are to use all three oils at the same time, but i didnt want to clog my scalp and only used the gro aut oil. be cautious.

Oh great!I just ordered it this morning. Are you ladies for real? I read the review from Yenna and wanted to try it. I wonder if it's too late to cancel the order.
like i said ur supposed to use all three together. the alternative is to use gro aut with sesame seed oil that u purchase seperately. i dont know if all that hair was solely from gro aut, but ive read of excessive shedding. it helped with length but it's thinner.

Well I just checked the website and it states "no cancellations after the order has been submitted." Thanks for the tip, I might pick up some sesame oil today. I doubt I'll be trying gro aut when it arrives. Last month, I lost alot of hair due to a horrible touch up. I rather not take the chance.
I really wanted this product to work for me, but the shedding had me really bummed. I am now trying/using BT.

Mix the three oils together. Which three oils? So were you combining these three oils and putting them on at once?

u have to follow the instructions on the site. i think she states them in her regimen on how to use them.

There are three different oils that come in the sample kit. Its the gro-aut oil, the Mahabhringraj oil and the Bhringraj oil. I can say that I did not notice alot of shedding when using these products. Especially since I had post partum shedding a few months ago. I like these products and I felt that any shedding that I got was normal because I would wash every week and keep my hair bunned up during that time. Since I have included these oils into my regime which includes protective styling and stretching my hair is now where it was before the post partum shedding. I am gonna order the larger quantities of these oils this time around because the sample kit is was not enough. And can I agree with the review by Yema my hair would itch and feel like something was in it everytime I used these products low and behold it was the hair growing.

I only used the Gro-Aut and did not have excessive shedding. I didn't realize we are supposed to use it with the other oils...never noticed that on the site. The only reason I stopped using it is because I got lazy. I think I'm going to finish my bottle up before it gets too hot. If I get any shedding, I'll post again.
ETA: I did use it once, and noticed a little more shedding than normal, which is odd because I didn't have this problem when I used it before. I'm going to try it again when I wash my hair, and see if that makes a difference.

I'm thinking I may get about .5-1" in a month which is great for me...usually only get .25 -.33 a month. I will get more when it's done ( I got the 8oz bottle). See where my hair is in my middle picture below? That was April 12th...as of May 14th I'm touching the black part there...

I'm thinking I may get about .5-1" in a month which is great for me...usually only get .25 -.33 a month. I will get more when it's done ( I got the 8oz bottle). See where my hair is in my middle picture below? That was April 12th...as of May 14th I'm touching the black part there...

Did you try the Boundless Tresses and if so did you get good results? Your hair sure grew out nicely. HHHG

I have been using this product for the past month. I bought the sample both times and used it exactly as instructed. I have experienced excessing shredding. I have to admit that I have massive new growth but the hair on my nape came all the way out and it above shoulder length and the rest is almost apl. I won't be using it again and I am sad about it because it grew my hair better than mn and bt put together. I ordered mega-tek the two weeks ago (it haven't come yet), so I will see how this will work. I hope it grows my nape back.

that is what i did. I only used the Mahabhringraj and the Gro-Aut and i loved it. I got a little shedding, but it wasn't excessive. I could definitely see the growth. it really is a great product.

No I won't be relaxing again. I have not tried BT. I don't think they ship to Canada. I want to try OCT, have you tried it yet?

I wonder what caused the shedding? Some ingredient or just because the hair was coming out too fast?

that's a good question... i know some people get shedding with other growth products, i.e. mt. it may have to do with increased growth rate and/or extending growth phase... alot of people, including myself have/had success with combatting excessive shedding with garlic supplements

I initially bought the gro aut and the shampoo and conditioners a while back ago. I stopped using the oil a while ago, can't remember why but I still have almost a full bottle left but I do know that I am not interesting in going back to using that hair oil. However, I have been a steady customer and fan of her shampoo and especially the jojoba leave in conditioner. I love it and they have become my stables.
