Found this in Sally's. Here is what happened when I washed and blowdried. Needless to say I didn't bother flat ironing.
It's called beautique ceramic round brush with boar bristles

Ugh! I wish I could round brush! This lady did it for me once and I almost broke my neck whipping my hair so hard! It was awesome.

Looks great! I haven't used a brush since forever . . . I can't even remember. My results are my hair snapping off. What is your technique?

Thanks everyone. Believe it or not, Im not all that great with a roundbrush. when my hair dresser does it, it looks much better. all I did was use a leave in, serum, and heat protectant. Part each section and comb it out. Then I placed the brush under hair and blow dry while creating tension. this is the only brush I could find to make it work. Roundbrush with no balls on bristles. This brush has a mx of boar. I had hardly any shedded hairs.

did you lose a lot of hair? (shedding, etc?) I am terrified of brushes b/c i have a tendency to lose a lot more
