Ditto, congratulations

Great growth Faith...I'm still rocking the crochet braids you taught me to do...if only in four years I could be at half the length you are now!

Thanks a lot ladies

kooky:
My regimen is pretty basic right now. All the shampoos were making my hair too dry (Jason's or Millcreek's isn't too drying but I decided to go back to no poo and shampoo and do a protein treatment 1x/month.). Anywho, I wash 1x/week. I do a hot oil treatment for about 1-2 hrs (while I watch cartoons

) and then without rinsing the oil out I apply the conditioner and make sure I scrub (gently) my scalp...I leave the conditioner on for about 1-2 hrs (more cartoons). I then rinse and apply my 911 leave in (I'm going to use up my Elasta QP next), some Surge 14 spray, apply some scurl gel activator (will try world of curls next) and then I seal it with oil and that's that. This is my protective style regimen. For my flatironed regimen I would skip the scurl gel activator till after I flatiron. I mix the gel activator with profectiv and apply it to my flatironed hair. That's that! From doing this regimen, my hair has gone from sort of dry to veryyyyyy soft.

Faith...where do you purchase your Surge Revitalizer...fellow Canadian? Have you found any on any counters near you or a t any of the beauty supplies stores?? I would like to buy the Surge and try out the Freeda or Puritan Pride Biotin, but I do not want to have to do the net thing...it is so expensive. I tried to find some when I was in Toronto but I was obviously not hitting the right places. If you have any leads I would appreciate it. Happy Hair Growing and congratulations? Bonjour

I live in Toronto too and Puritans Pride is still cheaper after s&h and duty. Amino Acids alone will set you back at least 30.00-40.00 CND at the places I've checked. I've also tried to find Surge on this side of the border and have been unsuccessful.

Hi Mahalialee

I bought it at abantu.com (you phone it in). I can't find it locally. That is probably your best bet. Also, try doing a search for it here...some of the ladies down east found it in Montreal I believe. That would be closer to you than B.C. right? And thanks
