grease as a moisturizer

do any of you use grease to moisturize your ends at night? I just started this and i think it's a very efficient way to protect your ends and it's also inexpensive.

i use grease to SEAL in the moisture (distilled water, scurl) i have already put in my hair. i would never put in grease on dry hair in the hope that it would by itself moisturise.

When my hair was longer and relaxed I did. I wet my ends with plain tap water and applied Blue Magic Coconut Oil to the last inch or two.

Now I just spray on a leave-in and apply a light oil all over my hair before bed. It's too short to concentrate on the ends. My whole head is "ends".
