I have had really good hair growth, but I have noticed that I have like 5 or 6 new hairs that are straight WHITE...I mean white like Gadalf from lord of the rings..I am 25 so I don't know if is age or what...any ideas?
You can get grey hairs at any age and nutrition could be the reason or it could just be in your genes to get grey hairs early. But a few odd hairs wouldn't worry me. Maybe these links will help:
Shen Min and Emu Oil are believed to help with preventing gray hair.
Even if these "magic elixirs" don't do what they are said to do, there is always hair dye or Lady Grecian Formula. Or you could just cultivate the spirit of Jay Bates, the author of this article.
Thanks for the links Nonie! I know thru Sterry's posts that Emu oil has many beneficial properties for our hair but I didn't know Emu oil prevents the greying hair too.
My situation is a little different. I have this strand of grey hair in the front which I've had for the last year or so. This morning as I was examining it I noticed that the root, the new growth of that strand is no longer grey but is dark brown like the rest of my hair. Isn't that weird?
I don't take Shen Min but I do take MSM, biotin, barley green, beet root powder and EFAs.
This is interesting. I was taking MSM for about 5 years. In those 5 years I have about 15 new grey hairs. I never made a connection but, stopped taking MSM because I did not think that it was helping with my weight loss. Hmmm...
I too have a grey hair I never had before after taking MSM, Biotin and Hair Skin and Nail Vitamins for the last few months consistantly. And im really mad that they are in the VERY front of my head!!!
