I really like the Graham Webb Halo Flexible control Hairspray and the Stick Straight straightening balm from the regular line. The Halo Reparative shampoo and conditioner are really good also, moisturizing and strengthening.

some posts i found for you
Velvet Soft from Graham Web. It was extremely soft, fluffy, bounced when I walked, and swayed when the wind blew it. I didn't use anything but Velvet Soft and a little oil (and I didn't oil rinse). It didn't use any moisturizer and no leave-ins. It really didn't need any and it stayed soft and moist all day.

I just wasn't as shiny and I wasn't crazy about the bounciness it just felt weird to have my hair moving when it was in a wng. It also pointed towards the sky more than the ground. I like it pointing down (it makes it look longer) but I could get addicted to the softness.

All Soft Heavy Cream by Redken, the Velvet Whip Leave-in and a little oil (again no oil rinsing and no other products). It has a deep shine, it's not as soft as Velvet soft but it's softer than Aveda. It's also very smooth. It feels like the surface of the hair is oiled (but it's not oily).

I didn't see any breakage from either but the Velvet soft hair stretched more (before breaking) than the All Soft treated hair. Velvet soft would have been my primary had it been a little shinier or a little more available.

I guess I like them both for different reasons. So I guess I have two new lines, but Redken is my primary.

I've started clearing my shelves. Stuff I only sorta liked is going in the trash (or to a girlfriend). Stuff I've loved for years (like Aveda) is being boxed and put in a back closet. When the PJ in my decides to try something new I'll revisit the old favs.

I totally agree. Graham Webb (Silk Repair line) and Silk2 are two lines that are used in salons that use Silk Proteins/amino acids and I have read that these two lines are Excellent. One of these days I will get my hands on their products.

But I totally understand where you're coming from Hopefulone. Once I discovered Salerm 21 and Lacio Lacio(both have silk proteins in them), I thought I was in hair heaven. The silkiness, shine and softness is out of this world.

Hits:
HE Break's Over Conditioner
Joico- Daily Care Treatment shampoo and cond
Graham Webb- Silk Repair
HE Long Term Relationship- leave in for split ends
Nexxus Vitatress biotin creme
Coconut cream- give my daughter's hair excellent shine and makes it look extra healthy
Chi Silk Infusion
CURLFORMERS!!!!

I used the velvet conditioner and was really impressed - better than allsoft.

Also, there is a condish that you have to combine and it swells up ?(only way to explain it)

Kinda good, too. I only had samples, though from my stylist friend.

Anyone else?

Graham Webb Silk Repair is the one that poofs up when you combine the two parts. This is a SERIOUS protein treatment and needs the additional moisture deep conditioning afterwards. It's expensive but well worth the money.
