I think I asked about this a couple of years ago and the general response was "meh," but I really believe this stuff works. A friend of mine turned me on to it when her daughters went from short puffs to shoulder length twists in a short time. My personal experience has been that my hair doesn't seem to grow while I used it, but a couple of months after I stop, the hair seems to come in fuller and seems much longer. I just hate the smell. I basically wash, braidout, use oil on second day hair and bun it. Wash that mess out before I go to bed that night so I can start the braidout routine....again.

I used this years ago and it really worked, enough for others to notice. I don't remember the exact measurements though. what really made it work for me was using it as a scalp oil and then sitting under the dryer with my hair covered in a plastic cap for about 15-20 minutes. That caused a nice spurt of growth for me.

it worked for me when i used to use it i think i will revisit it and add an eo like pepperment or lavender to see if it can alter the smell.
i will use it like i use the jbco wash or co wash apply VERY little to the scalp after my leave in then either twist/braid out or bun and repeat in three days now that its hot in NY but idk about the winter LOL i wash or co wash often since i have been working out more often

I love this product for me and my girls. I can't say that it gives me significant growth but I see a difference in the thickness of my hair.

Yeah...not sure how it works, I just know that when I use it, my hair gets significant length over the course of that year. I had kind of abandoned it, but decided to try it again since I'm really anxious to BC, but not until I have enough NG that i'm comfortable doing it!

ETA: I bet this product would make a good oil rinse. :yep:
