I went and had about 1-2 inches trimmed off today. I was hesitant but my stylist reassured me that I needed it done due to some of my see through ends at the back of my head. :wallbash:

I didn't fuss or complain- My hair was then rollerset so it is hard for me to see my length without stretching it. My guess is that I am right above bra-strap length again. For some reason, I am not bothered as the year rollls in. Now I can start 2011 off right with healthier ends and do more protective styling to keep my ends blunt. I have come to the conclusion that Trims can be a GOOD thing. :yay:

Good for you Dear, You will definately have a fresh start with a trim of that amount, and thick blunt ends definately beats thin scraggly ones. But where are the pics, you know we like to see whats being talked about?

ETA: Is that a current pic as your Avatar?

Yes!! Since i've been on the board I've been very hesitant to get my trims but my love for blunt ends and just healthy looking hair overall beats the hesitation. after my trims I always feel as if my hair looks, feels and lays better! I do know that there are some who can not trim and still be happy with their hair.. I'm not one of those people... So i'm going to keep trimming regularly.

Congrats on starting the year off with nice healthy ends! I plan to join you tomorrow! :look:

I was hesitant, but I'm getting mine trimmed tomorrow. I air dry my hair and was wondering if I need to flat iron it before I have it trimmed?!?!? I too need to get rid of 1 to 2 inches but I''m sure I won't be able to tell once I get my rollerset!

*Here are the attached pics. My hair may look longer but I am sitting down and using my camera from my laptop. I need a new camera.
