Got my curlformers but.....

They are not long enough, I got the kit which contains the Long & Wide I did a couple samples and a little tail of hair is hanging out the end. Is the Long and Thin longer? I wanted to get the long & thin but they only had one pack, it appears longer in the package but I cant tell 4 sure. Does anyon have the Long&thin and the Long&wide so they can tell me which one is longer?

Dang I was all ready for some curls.

ok, I just called the Sallys all the way across town and they have extra long,(I didnt know their was an extra long) but they only have 2 packs though.....ahhh the things I will do for the love of hair on the way to sallys

That's actually the "medium size" there's a extra wide & extra long - they're dark pink/magenta and yellow with 4 to a pack. I will be trying them this weekend probably. If you only have a little sticking out, try smoothing the curlformer straight ( holding at the root and smooth with other hand to the end with hair inside) when you get to the end let it go so it springs back and recurl - I had a few with some hair that stuck out and when I tried this is curled all my hair up inside. Probably only works if you have 1" or less sticking out though.

P.S: the extra long/ extra wide come 4 to a pack.

I had a little (1/4 - 1/2) an inch hanging in some places so I slid it down some. It worked out ok. I absolutely LOVE these things!

I read on another curlformer thread that you can put two curlformers on one rod for really long hair. Maybe you should try that.

I found that out too after I already purchased these I was thinking about taking them back but it seems easier to just use the long.

I was thinking the same thing. I was like I wonder can you get the same rollerset results with these instead of using magnetics.
