Good News! I Successfully Relaxed W/ Con!

I'm so happy! My plans to relax was a success! Creme of Nature was the most easy relaxer to use and had no burning or discomfort whatsoever. I was a bit nervous doing a jar perm myself, but I did a pretty good job. I now have 9" of hair and am able to wrap my hair like I used to. Now the fun begins! When I washed the relaxer out my hair was a bit dry, but after my beloved ORS mayo, soft as silk! Now a new challenge begins. I'm going to learn how to stretch my relaxer and wash my hair every 3 or 4 days instead of daily washiing. If anybody wants know how I rate CON, I give it 2 thumbs up!

I am glad :bouncegre that you are happy with your relaxed results but I am a bit sad that you gave up on being texturized .I don't think I would ever relax my hair again. I love having texturized hair but as my mom would say "do whatever that makes you happy and if you are happy then I am happy for you. Good luck!!

I'm glad that it worked out for you Natulchallange. I tried the CON perm once and it came out underprocessed . Maybe I did not mix well enough.

I had to get rid of the texturizer because only the front was wavy, and the sides were strait. I knew no other way to style my hair. i couldn't twist it or anthing else. At least I CAN wrap and roller set my hair now so I can enjoy it again.I'm hoping the mtg and stinky challenge will help my hair to grow as fast as it did when it was texturized.
