When I hit waist I stop
I wanted to know if this was a good alternative to doing the baggie method, because sadly I HATE buns /images/graemlins/spank.gif

I usually will get some jojoba oil and put in on the ends at night and in the mornin before I go to school I put both jojoba oil and veseline on it( Hair is currently in two- strands twist) Will it do basically the same thing as the baggie method?

IMHO, I don't think it will do the same job as the baggie method or as even wearing a bun would, because the purpose of those styles is to keep your end protected from the elements. While your method is providing your ends with moisture--which is very good--it fails to keep the ends from being exposed. With the bun or baggie method, you would oil your ends as you do now, but additionally, protect your ends completely. Perhaps, though, someone else will weigh in with better news. wildchild, what if you wore your hair in the style you prefer while you're out of the house (school/work) but do the baggie trick once you get home? that way, your hair will get at least 8+ hours of maximum moisture protection every night, not just at bedtime - which is definitely better than feeling like you have to skip it altogether.

Hey that's a good idea, only b/c I'm trying to leave my hair alone It's either braided(box) or in 2-strand twists. So there in lies a dilemma
