Going Natural

Hello every1,
I want to go natural. I have been thinking about this and have not permed my hair in a little over 2 months in case I decided this is what I really wanted. I also don't want to do a big chop, because honestly I think my head is too big to go that way and I am vain and still want to be cute in the process What I have been thinking is that I will maybe get a cute cut, but not to short just to cut some of the perm out now. Can anyone give me any advice on a healthy way to start this process without cutting my hair really low?

It just takes some extra care, but plenty people successfully transition without going short

I wore braided individuals to grow out my hair, and then after a while I would wear my half natural half relaxed hair in small twists, and would curl them by sleeping in soft curlers.

It's a wonderful thing when you can not only grow your hair out to be in its natural state, but also to grow out HEALTHY natural hair. Remember, it starts from the inside and then out. Good luck!
