GOING FROM RELAXER TO TEXTURIZER

Hey ladies I have been thinking about letting the relaxer grow out and getting a texturizer but I'm gonna let my hair grow so I can have some length cause I don't want a twa I'm in the 2010 braided challenge and that is what made me really decide to do it cause it's thought I had been playing with for a while

but isn't a relaxer and texturizer the same thing. but with a texturizer you just leave the chemical on the hair for a shorter period of time?
or are you going to use some new product that's not a relaxer after your hair grows out?
