Going from no-lye to lye and changing conditioners

Hello everyone,I have a question for those who have switched from no-lye to lye relaxers did you have to also change your conditioners? I had to change conditioners when I went to lye relaxers the old condtioners made my hair dry.

I switched from no-lye to lye relaxers this past October. In truth, I can't say that I really had to change my conditioners, but I can say that I did start trying new products around that same time. That could be why I didn't notice a need to change any products.
