I don't think it's safe to take too much vit A. It can become toxic at high levels. I was looking at the ingredients for the hair vitamin and I must say, it's nothing compared to the ultra mega gold. This multi has it ALL! It has all your amino acids, all of the b vitamins, all of the minerals, all your antioxidants, and even green tea extract! You just have to take extra biotin because it only has 100 mcg.
 
Are you not getting results from the ultra hair? Maybe you could take a really good complete multi on the side. Like your ultra hair in the morning and the multi at night. Just a suggestion. I don't take hair vitamins though. The multi and extra biotin works for me.
