So, i discovvered the wonderful qualities of castor oil, aloe vera gel and glycerine and started adding them to my coconut body lotion. I got great results and my skin was moisturized all day long.:yep:

But then, i noticed that my body hair increased...hair on arms etc + i now had to shave more often....and I can now also run a comb through my newly grown moustache :yep::perplexed

Anybody else had experience of such?? Anyone have a solution???
Pls help before i become Chewbacca's cousin!:lachen:

Maybe it's the castor oil. I know it's supposed to be good for thickening hair, and people use it to fill in thinning spots.
So I guess you can leave it out from now on, or invest in an industrial size bottle of Nair. Or embrace your new look.

Op I hope you put the concoction in the fridge, if left out it will be a breeding ground for mold and bacteria.

Girl rock that hair!

:lachen:!!!
Definitely the castor oil! It is, as someone stated, used to thicken up hair and help with thinning edges and what have you.

This is HILARIOUS!!! After all that has the hair on your head increased???:lachen::lachen::lachen:

Well if the hair on your head increased, I'll be slapping that concoction on my scalp in a few minutes...

I was using castor oil and coconut oil in the oil cleanse method on my face.
Yea uhm i had to stop. I have a hormone imbalance so Im trying to deal with that and increased facial hair as is. The castor oil was making my "secret stash" not so secret anymore i swore i had what looked like a faint 5 oclock shadow.

It did help my eyebrows come in thicker after a horrible wax at the salon i shouldve known what it would do for my face.

I dont apply it to my body. And I will never after what happened to my face.

That's a "chewy" combination (ok sorry, pun). Cut the castor & the coconut oil together on the body. Hey Chewy! heehee. girl u are so funny!

I hope you started putting in on your scalp. Your hair will be down to your ankles in no time! :lachen:

Big thnx to everyone that replied!! I will now exclude both the aloe vera gel and castor oil...

Yes...i also think that aloe vera and the castor oil are the main culprit. But they are soooo great on my skin.

Never thought of that but thankx girl!

hmmm...that would be great!! i hope soo.

LOL this is hilarious... I need to put this combination on my hair !! :-)
yup...its a great moisturiser...good growth aswell

Yes, it's true! I actually mix the aloe vera gel, castor oil, rose water, peppermint oil and vegetable glycerin for an AWESOME moisturizing spritzer on my TWA. Makes my hair SUPER SOFT and moisturized all day and makes my curls "pop" in my wash n gos. The castor oil and glycerin are also growth promoters in your body lotion mix.

It's a keeper for me!

So if i get a wax or use nair on my moustach, will this not promote more hair?? does this mean i have to regularly get waxed???:perplexed

I don't think that Nair or waxing will promote growth but if you continue to use your concoction I think that will promote the growth that will cause you to have to remove the hair regularly.
