Glycerin and the unknown

I just used it to moisturize my hair. I'd rub a few drops between my hands (it would get really warm too) and rub it on my hair. Don't know if it helped or not. because I used it when I applied other moisturizers too.

I would add it to a conditioner. WARNING: If your hair is relaxed, flat ironed, and in a humid environment, your hair will DEFINITELY poof.

It helps hair retain moisture- so you can mix 1/3 glycerin to 2/3 water and spritz it on dry ends. It really does a good job unless you live in a humid climate.

Thanks for the ideas. I'm kind of freaked out now. Michigan is really humid, but right now we are going through a very dry winter. Will it be beneficial to use it now, then stop using it in the summer?

Yup! Or if you rollerset- spritz your ends with the glycerin mix. Itll keep your ends from drying out!

Anytime I use glycerin, I always dilute with water. This mix sounds good.

I even use it when it's humid outside, but I will wear my hair in a textured style (wash n go/braid out) and it feels so soft and moisturized. :yep:

:yep: This is what I use. It's great on my ends and on the new growth BUT your new growth WILL POOF UP if you use this on it. ALOT :ohwell: ok.... a whole lot lol. But hey.... it'll be soft!:look:

I mix a good amount of glycerin in my hand with ORS Replenishing Conditioner and Aussie-3 min Miracle to DC. I have never had my hair air-dry soft until trying this.

Thats what I do too. I also add some castor oil to it.
I've been using this combo year round with no problem.
