Ok I am new to this product ... it's in my hair right now and I'm worried... I dont feel any slip at all.. Please let me know how u feel about it .. I'm going to leave it in for 20 min before I rinse it out

I don't think I've tried deep moisture, how long is it supposed to be left in? When I got bananas stuck I coated my hair in their 50:50 conditioner and went to sleep. It was haaaard as a rock when I woke up, but once I wet it/rinsed it out my hair felt strong and soft. I have Giovanni 50:50 balanced conditioner and I really want the silky one (smooth as silk? something like that). In my opinion Giovanni Direct Leave In is their best product and one of the best leave ins I've ever used. It's first two ingredients are water and aloe.

Oooh, I just read that it has a bit of protein in it. Maybe you don't need protein? Rinse it out, girl, rinse it out! :perplexed:perplexed

I love that stuff to death, it gives me amazing slip to detangle and it has no cones! How it manages to do that, I don't know. But I love this conditioner.

HMMM Ok it is a so so for me .. oh to the well :ohwell: no slip and my hair has got to have slip ! this is too much hair to fight the comb with ... I do love that it is all natural .. but no for me .. I use the rest of it as a leave in
thanks EtherealEnigma!

I LOVE it!

It's funny you started this thread though, b/c I've always used it to cowash or for braidouts (and it leaves my hair soo soft and gives great definition). But I just restocked today in hopes of trying it with heat as a DC.

Never tried it before bc it just seemed so....light.
But I'm gonna try it out for a DC sometime this week, to see if I can get some more use out of it lol

so far though, my hair loves it :yep:

I've always tried to use it sparingly though, bc its a bit more pricier than my other conditioners. I hope it works as a DC so I can justify buying it on the regular (I rotate conditioners a lot).

ETA: Also bought the Tea Tree Triple Treat Conditioner, and can't wait to try it out. I could tell just from the scent that it'll have that great tingle sensation on the scalp :drunk:

I give it an 8/10 but I think I may have an older formula. I picked up a liter at TJ Maxx. My hair seems easy to detangle after I leave it in for about 10-15 min while showering and then rinse.

From looking at the indgredient list, the lack of slip is likely due to the fact that the conditioner doesn't have much of the ingredients which allow for slip. Cetyl Alcohol is listed almost at the bottom of the list. Cetyl Alcohol is a fatty alcohol. Fatty alcohols give conditioners good slip. I also noticed that quats (or conditioning compounds present in most conditioners) are left out. If your looking for slip, I'd skip this conditioner based on the ingredient list alone.

Aqua (Purified Water) with *Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Extract, *Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Valencia Orange) Extract, *Mangifera Indica (Mango) Extract, *Cymbopogon Schoeanthus (Lemongrass) Extract, *Ginkgo Biloba Extract, *Echinacea Angustifolia Extract, *Salix Alba (Willow Bark), *Macrocystis Pyrifera (Sea Kelp) Extract, *Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Leaf Extract, *Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Extract, *Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Extract, *Glycine Soja (Soybean) Extract, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Centrimonium Bromide, Butylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Fragrance with Essential Oils.

I've used the SAS and it was okay. It's supposed to be a deep conditioner but it doesn't have enought moisturizers in it for me. Do all of there condishes have the same consistency?

I tried the Tea Tree one too and was not in love with that one either. The consistency reminds me of Sitrinillah and I'm learning I like creamy conditioners for the best moisture.

I don't really use it as a deep conditiner any more. I use it as a leave-in which to me works better but don't use a lot b/c it takes a long time to absorb.

I love this conditioner as an instant conditioner (I make my own deep conditioning concoctions). Too, it is the only conditioner I can also use as a leave-in. When I have tried to use other conditioners as a leave-in all I got was tacky and or fused-together hari.

it was the 1st all natural conditioner i used when i BC'd in december & my hair liked. it has a decent amount of slip & left my hair very soft. great for a cowash. for my hair, it gave me 10 times more slip than these 2 aubrey organics conditioners i bought (hsr & in)

I thought it was ok.....It seems as though Trader Joe's Nourish Spa conditioner has close to the same ingredients, but performs better for HALF the price.
