I have made an appointment to get microbraids next week to help ease my transition and some of the breakage I am having with my hair. Is there anything special that I need to do before and during with my new growth and old growth so that my it will thrive and grow in the braids? Right now I am honestly sick and tired of fooling with my hair, it's not growing like I want it to...it's breaking and I feel like if I wait a few more week I will give in to the temptation of a relaxer! I will not let my new kiddos see my hair like this!

:stop:NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! :Run:b/c this's what'll happen:pullhair:

Lol....first time I got micro braids, I had hair loss. But I had them in for waaaaaaaaaaay too long--like 3 months. I got them again at the end of 05 and kept them in for about a month and a half, and my grew well! No problems at all.

You still need to shampoo and condition your hair, braids or no braids. Don't use synthetic hair it absorbs the moister rite out of your natural hair.
