Gave in... and colored my highlites.

Hi ladies,
I gave in and had a demi-permanent dark brown applied to my hair! I was getting tired of the blonde and hated how dry it made my hair appear.

I've been doing co-washes 1-2 x's weekly and was wondering will it fade my color? It says it should last 6-8 washes. I was with a sulfate free shampoo and co wash 2 times in addition during the week. Will this fade my color super fast?

Use a color shampoo & and other color protectant prods.
There are poos with a hint of color in them to extend the color.
I don't have any brands to recommend other than the ONE I'm familiar with from school with is the Regis Line Color Care Shampoo....

bgsix I sorta miss them too .. but it was so much work to take care of. I definitely could feel the difference in how the bleached hair felt . I'm happy so far! I now can focus on retention and getting to my goals.

Sorry not trying to be a nuisance,but I don't understand much about coloring/highlites processes ( I'm too chicken-I only do black rinses). What the difference is caring for colored hair as to highlites?
