I used the shampoo and conditioner for the first time today and all I can say is :D . The shampoo was not drying but made my hair feel clean. The conditioner smells good and has great slip. My hair was nice and fuzzy curly after a quick wash and condition. I added my daily leave in and went to seal with grease. The grease made my coils pop. My new growth curled and coiled really pretty with no fuzz. I combed everything back into a low pony and the front which is about natural 3 inches back laid down without frizz and fuzz. It did make my "baby hair" curl unto tiny curls though. For me, its a keeper.

i'm glad you posted this, i was wondering how well the Curl and Shine line worked just the other day.

i think i'll give it a whirl...

I found out about the curl & shine leave in from another natural at my school. When I asked her what she used on her hair she seemed hesitant to say and just gave me a vague answer. But when I asked her for a specific product name she told me about the leave-in. I'm really glad I pressed her for an answer :D. Their leave-in conditioner is the only one I've ever used where the recommended amount (about the size of a quarter) is actually enough. The bottle has lasted me along time (months), and I use it often.

Later I decided to try their shampoo and conditioner, and they work great for me. It seems almost too good to be true. I keep waiting for buildup or for it to mysteriously stop working, but it hasn't. It smells good, lathers very well (even on the 1st lather), gives good slip, and leaves my hair feeling soft. Plus they aren't that expensive.

What's a slip?

When I say it gives slip I mean that my hands are able to easily glide or "slip" through my hair while lathering/washing. It's the opposite of how some shampoos leave your hair feeling tangly and coated.
