Hey Y'all!!! I took a break from reading...to tell you about this...

I know how IJ -ish we are!!!! (ingredient Junkie)

I put this together this morning - and it felt GRRRREAT!!!!! I did a cassia treat over the weekend - and forwhatever reason - My moisture was not up to par... oh well - easily fixed!!!!

Sam's scalp soother.... (also softens the lovely kinks!!)

3 tbls - Aloe Vera GEL ( lily of the desert, inner fillet gel) ( whole Foods)

2 tbls - jojoba oil

1 tbl - coconut oil

10 drops each

peppermint oil
tea tree
patchouli
rosemary

place this all in a tint bottle.... Shake well - use as a scalp treat....YUM!!!! It is not super runny...But it sinks in!!!:lick:

I put a piece of plastic wrap on - then tied my hair down with a scarf for about 1/2 hour..... YUM!!!!:lick:

ok - my oh naturalle sistas.... have fun....

I'm trying this tonight. I did henna last night and need to poo again tonight cuz I still see henna under my fingernails (Yemeni henna is a BEAST! Pretty color though!). My hair will need all the lushness it can get!

ETA: You didn't rinse, did you? You just let it soak in and go about your business?

Nope. I used it this morning on my scalp and twists....

My Twists are 'juicy':lick:

Oooo this looks good...and aloe vera has mucopolysaccarides (that is not spelled right) and the rosemary is supposed to aid in growth as well....I need to get myself some more aloe vera anyway.

SJ to the rescue!

Now, go read.

:giggle: heee - ok.....

Get the GEl - not the juice.... Ge the the JUICE for your daily spritz....

I took a break and actually did some work @ work...can you imagine??? Actually I was surfing the net for the best juicer and found a Breville, then I was looking at some Cuisinart pans. I'm trying not to buy stuff for my hair but looks like it's took on another face....

Anyway, this sounds yummy!:lick: I need to get some patchouli though. I'm going to try this, especially after my henna treatments!
