Just wanted to let you guys know.

Also, there is free shipping for orders of $90 or more. That's a lot, but if you are a regular user you know how much of a deal that is. I have NEVER seen any specials or discounts on her site.

I stocked up on some Olive Cream, got a couple of her Karkady Mists and a Heavy cream.

The Karkady Mist reminds me of Fermodyl 619.

What's Fermodyl? Is the Karkady Mist really moistuizing? I'm trying to find a replacement for my beloved H2H Softening Spray. I've been meaning to restock my supply of Olive and Honey Balm, thanks for the warning, cause I woulda lost my mind!

Hmmm... I wonder why she's going on hiatus. That's true, I've never seen a sale being offered. I still can't imagine myself spend that amount of money, unless I needed to stock up majorly.

Fermodyl is a liquid leave in. It is a staple for me. I only tried the Karkady once on my wet hair under a creamy leave-in (I use Qhemet's Olive Cream Detangler) and it worked very well. I could use it on my dry hair because I flat-iron, but it seems to be a nice all natural leave-in spray. Has MSM in it, too.

I often see one person shops take breaks and time off. HennaSooq did it, Hair2Heaven, as well.

Yeah, $90 is a lot. One thing I hate about ordering from her site is the shipping costs. The products are already kinda costly anyway and then shipping on top of that is a pain. But, I have yet to find a better leave in for my hair - one that really keeps my hair moisture for days. Soooo, I just bite the bullet and remain one of her loyal customers. For me, $90 now will eventually save me more money in the long run.

Hi ladies

Thanks for notifiying folks Honeydew. :) Glad you like the Karkady. Just wanted to add that I do offer sales and specials on my site, the current two will be the third and fourth offered this year. Besides the free shipping offer (just an offer, don't need to take advantage of it), folks can also get 10% off an order for submitting a photo. Details and specials are posted on the announcements page. As Honeydew said, most of us one woman run businesses take a break once a year as we work year round. Oyin recently came off of hers. :)
