Can you wash your hair while wearing a sewn on lace wig?

I don't know how you'd really be able to get past the lace

I tried to when I used to wear them, imo it's not a good idea because it's very difficult to dry your hair underneath. A damp scalp can cause issues :/ If you're skilled enough with a needle and thread, you could cut half of the seams off to wash and then sew it back on afterward
