Hi
I am new to the discussion board. I was intro by my older sister. I am planning to go through transition but I am nervous and scaried about the process. Have anyone been down that road and does anyone have any suggestions of care.

Thanks

There are plenty of ladies here who are willing and qualified to help you on transitioning. I don't have much knowledge in that department, I transitioned for 2 months. Welcome!!!!

I think that you should look through the threads that the ladies posted for you. There will be a wealth of information and support there (i.e. about products, transitioning techniques, keeping encouraged, etc.). :yep:

Good luck on your transition and welcome to the board.

Thank you very much for the encouragement. It is a difficult process. I am struggling right now. With all the encouragement it might be easier then I thought. I will def check out the sites. :bouncy:

Don't be scared! Enjoy the transition! Watch right when that new growth starts kickin in you won't be able to wait to get rid of the relaxed ends. It may take a while to get used to what works for you and your hair during this transition. You can try a lot of different new styles that work with the two different textures such as twist or braid outs. I transitioned for about less than a year and I have no regrets !

Yea the transition support thread helped me BIG TIME. I didn't read it all in one shot though since it's about 879,094 pages long but i read alitte at a time.
