This has never happened to me! I use S-curl and wait for my braids to dry. It comes out gorgeous, shiney but I went to two of my classes and now it's already frizzy. I still get compliments but I prefer to not have any frizzies... Any advice? I'm a PJ so I would love to hear of some products y'all use when doing braidouts...

Thanks!

Anytime my hair has come out frizzy from braid outs, it was always because I didn't let it dry completely. When it is completely dry, my hair doesn't frizz. Could this have been what happened in your case?

I don't think so... But it was drizzling this morning :ohwell:

yeah maybe it was the weather? did you use the same products you usually use?

It may be the s-curl. :ohwell: You may need something with a heavier consistency, like a cream, butter or oil.

I agree. the S-curl is very moisturizing, which is a good thing. But moisture plus moisture (humidity) equals frizz. Has this happened before with your hair in SC?

One product that helps (not 100%) is Aveda Anti-Humectant which seals the moisture in but repels outside moisture. I usually apply it on my wet hair after my leave-in and if it's very humid, I'll put some on (just a little) my dry hair, after styling.

Someone here mentioned another Aveda product which might be even better. I'll try to find that thread. :fan:

sta sof fro is not good for all over "out" hair wear. I tried to do a roller set using it as a leave in and it was just a frizzy mess. Now I stick to using it on my roots and edges only.
