I need to learn how to french braid. Does anyone know of I way I can teach myself. I do not have any daughters to practice on. /images/graemlins/confused.gif

all it is is practice practice practice.... that's the only way to learn. eventually you'll get better /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Or you could go to Wal- mart and buy the Barbie heads- my niece has one and she put on make up on and does the Barbie's hair. The cost is about $9.99. The head is smaller than the head of a mannequin. But be aware, doing someone else hair is totally different than doing your own hair. I guess it would just be best to practice on yourself.

speaking of which, i knew there was something i was supposed to be practicing while up late at night.

do you know how to cornrow? the way i learned is to hold your hand with your palms up instead of down like u would to braid. then you pick up hair and cross over. i know its not going to click by me just explaining it, you'll probably need to get a mannequinn. they have em at ebay for cheap.
