I called around in Boston, but only the original 4 products in the 4 oz tubs are at Sally Beauty Supply. I found the 4 new bottled products online at http://havanabeautysupply.com/ listed under "Ethnic Hair Care." Watchout for shipping and handling fees!
I'm hoping the Profectiv's Long N Healthy Mega Moisturizer will be LESS greasy/sticky than Beverly Johnson's oil for the hair. My stylist had trouble washing BJ's oil out.

ooooohhh i think i saw some of those in the bss. but the different places i went the prices varied to as much as dollar. so i wanted to hear reviews before i tried them out.

About profectivs: I remember using one of their moisturizers a few years ago. Maybe the one in the yellow jar. I really liked it. It was sort of like the QP mango butter.

Well, I purchased the growth masque and the 2 phase leave-in. I already had the oil (which I really like).
I conditioned my ends last night to try them out. The growth masque was nice. My hair felt soft and slippery during/after rinse out. One of it's ingredients is "glacial clay" which for some reason sounds really cool to me. I like this conditioner, but we have all used things that are comparable. I don't LOVE it enough to make it my regular conditioner, but definitely will keep some on hand.
Now, the leave-in--That's another story!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It left my hair SO soft, silky, smooth, and shiny (the 4 S's) . You really have to try this one. If you air dry your hair, it doesn't always dry smoothly and ends often look worse off than they really are because of the air drying. But this stuff hooked me UP! I even sprayed some this morning on my dry hair--same results.
GET THIS STUFF! Get the other one too because I know you wanna try it anyway. We have lots of "tryers" on this board ( like me)
