How do I change the background and make it all pretty?

You click on "go to " (right next to the Fotki logo at the top left) -go down and click "my account" and next to "color scheme" click "change"

how do i reply to my comments without making a completely separate comment??
and what does "# of hits today" mean? i know they have "# of visitors", but that's why i don't know what the "# of hits today" mean.

# of hits means how many times the photos in your album were clicked on. For example, you could only have one visitor but that visitor could have clicked/hit your photos 5, 10, 15 times. A visitor can click on a photo numerous times which drives up the "hits".

Under each new comment in your Fotki there's an "Edit" or "Delete" tab. I reply but clicking the "Edit" tab under the comment and posting my response in the same comment box that was used by the visitor. Hit "Save" comment and there you go. I hope that makes sense.

Not trying to hijack your thread or anything but I have been trying to figure out how to get a pic to show on my album cover instead of the lock.Not sure what I did wrong.

Also OP your question helped me change my layout.Didnt know how to do that until this thread.Thanks

if your fotki is locked, the only way a pic will show up is if the person puts up the password. i could be wrong, though.

^^ I agree w/ you Poookie. If your fotki is locked, you will only see a lock as the album pic- you can only change whether it'll be a random pic or a specific pic if you unlock your fotki for everyone.

I also agree w/ Loulou. To respond to comments, I click edit, hit enter to make the cursor go to the next line down, I enter a bunch of ~~~ to seperate the person's comments and my own- I hit enter to go under the squiggles and enter my response. I then hit save and there you have the response
