For those who treat with honey, can heat be used??

I would never put honey in my hair without heat. Honey is soooo sticky.

What I do is add a tbsp of honey and my oils of choice together, put it in the microwave for 8-10 seconds, and then apply it after I have my conditioner already on.

I need heat to melt the honey into the oils to make it easier to apply!

:yep: I use it with or without heat. When I use without heat I put it on top of an instant conditoner the put a plastic cap. Then it develops extra moisture inside the cap.

I use honey with or without heat. I also use honey addeed to my VO5 Coconut Conditioner mixed w/EVOO. :woot:

i want to try honey but im scared that it won't rinse out. Do u ladies encounter problems when rinsing it out?

I warm honey with a little oil or butter in the microwave (to save time) or the double boiler. Then I whip my conditioner into it (Humectress) and apply the mixture to my hair. I put a plastic cap on and leave it on my hair for about an hour.

I've never had a problem rinsing it out. This treatment leaves my hair so silky and strong feeling.
