Thanks, I wonder why it works better on dry hair??
Do you leave on the conditioner for the same prescribed time?

i don't know why it works better on dry hair. my personal theory is that when wet, water soaks into the hair which only allow so much conditioner to absorb. but when it is dry all the conditioner can absorb without water getting in the way.

i leave my conditioner in for about 2-3 hours. then wash and proceed to dc.

Hey, I do it on dry hair because it's easier to manipulate. I can't imagine me trying to do my mayo treatment on wet hair.

Actually, I prepooed with conditioner today to loosen up my braidout by preventing tangling. I had barely no shedding! :)

I am of this train of thought also! There was a thread some months ago, about conditioning on dry hair w/steam for conditioning as a prepoo treatment. I'll see if I can bump it up later, it's gym time!

I remember reading this in a magazine and that's why I do mine on dry hair.
