Please vote and indicate individually how often you do rollersets.

I'm thinking about doing more rollersets when the weather cools down.

I need to do them more often. I love my Gold n Hot Flat Iron and once I found out about the Bantu Knots I am hooked. I can't get the tension correct on the roller sets. I am going to start going to the Dominican Shop every other Friday. I still haven't checkout Lisa's. I liked Gylnis at Luisa's but I can't find her.

I get a rollerset each time I get a relaxer touch-up (which is every four months) at the salon. I do rollersets at home every blue moon. Also, I'll go to a Dominican salon to get a rollerset (maybe a few times a year). I wish I had time to get them done (or do them) more often. I voted other.

2x per week in winter,fall
if its hot and sticky I might be doing other things but its usually rollers

I usually rollerset my hair every week, but sometimes I get lazy and don't feel like setting my hair, so I'll try to think of something else to do with it (like a braidout) so that I won't have to roll it and sit under a dryer.

I usually rollerset once a week for the first month to 6weeks after my touch up... after that, my new growth doesn't allow for the style I want anyway so I just air dry in ponies.

I rollerset when I want to feel good about myself

Maybe once every couple of weeks, usually after a good deep conditioner.

I rollerset each time I wash my hair which is every three days. Been doing this for years. About once a year I blow dry my hair straight after a wash, but this is super damaging.

I rollerset 3 to 4 times a week, whenever I CO wash or regular wash my hair. Lately I have been wearing my hair in a bun or phonytail to leave it alone for a while.

Once a week at the Dominican Salon. I did do it on my own last week and it came out good, so I think I am going to try and do them on my own. I don't let them blow it so I don't see why I can't do what they do.

Once every two weeks. I'm getting better and better at it, too. Salerm 21 is a great hair lotion for me, too. However, it takes a very long time for my hair to dry.

I will go back to weekly once summer is over and I can't get away with the scrunched look in the office.

I rollerset about twice a week. I love the way my hair looks and feels after, soft, shiny, bouncy. I don't get that when I blow dry...and I think my hair does better away from all that heat anyway!

I'm gonna do rollersets once a week now. I LOVE CURLS! If my curls last longer than a week, I'll go for every two weeks!

I do a full roller set to dry my hair twice a week because that's how often I wet my hair. I let it air dry overnight. Then I'll wrap it in the morning for about an hour to loosen the curls and give it that fresh doobie look. I have recently started doing a dry set by throwing about 11 purple rollers in at night (my hair is a little pass shoulder length) and wrapping to take out some on the curl in the morning for about an hour on the days that I don't do a full set. This allows me to always look like I have a fresh doobie. If I continue to wrap my hair at night without rolling then I'll have flat thin hair.

Thanks for bumping this Poohbear! I rollerset 2x per week (every 3 days) and have done so since I discovered the hairboards in July, 2003. I never knew how to rollerset before or even thought about it. I didn't know there was an alternative to using heat to straighten and smooth my hair. Rollersetting has truly been a blessing for me, resulting in much healthier, longer hair.

Looks like a lot of ladies here rollerset 2x per week.

once a week i'll do a wet rollerset and lately i've been using my caruso rollers on dry hair as well.

Wow ... I think I'm the only fool who rollersets every night. The only reason is because I conditioner wash my hair every night. My hair is short so I can't do much with it besides the rollersetting.

Thanks for the thread, it is encouraging to realize that other girls also go through the same ordeal. With hair longer than midback, my rollerset does not last very long. So as far as possible, I will rollerset twice a week. I always sit under the dryer with a head full of 2 in rollers, a rather painful session. If I was a single, I would probably do it once a week only, but my husband is so fond of my curls that I do not object to the second weekly set
