For those that use Lye relaxer, do you still use a chelating shampoo?

For your first wash after relaxer just b/c? I am wondering if there are any calcium deposits left in the hair from past no-lye relaxers? I have a whole bottle of ORS Aloe Rid so I am going to use it for my first post relaxer wash ( I also use it when I need to remove gunk etc.) wondering if anyone else still uses it?

I do also just to be on the safe side. I use it once a month as well.

Yep I still do, you could get mineral deposits just from water and other products that you use.

yeah, i will continue to use mine, i was just wondering if residue is left over from the relaxer..
