I just ran out to Duane Reade and picked some up after hearing all of the raves on this board, and another lady at the beauty supply store telling me it was a must have for her. So I wanted to try it.

For those that use it do you put it on your ends everyday, on wash day, or something in between?? Does it cause your ends to crinkle up because of the water??

Let me know, I can't wait to try it on my hair!!

Hi, I don't use but was wondering if you could please post the ingredients? I am intrique since its getting such raves on the board. TIA!

It depends for me. I use it everytime I wash or rinse my hair which is often. On average, I'm probably applying it 4x a week. But again, it's usually after I wet my hair.

Ego Boost ingredients:

Water, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Polyquarternium-10, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, PVP, Amodimethicone, Fragrance, Trideceth-12, Cetrimonium Chloride, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Dimethicone, PEG-8 Methicone, Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone Copolyl, Phenyl Trimethicone, Propylparaben, Stearalkonium chloride, Citric Acid, Red 33.

I hope I spelled that all correctly:)

Summary on bottle:

Boost that ego and save your hair! Ego Boost Split End Mender & Leave-in Conditioner will seal, smooth, and protect your hair. As a split end mender apply to ends. As a leave-in conditioner, smooth over fly-aways as needed. Use on wet or dry hair.

This product is very justly named. It is indeed a boost to your ego. I use it at least three times a week. I shampoo two times a week and use it after shampoo/conditioner. It is leave in conditioner (kind of creamy like), but it does not moisturize. Use a leave in moisturizer before applying. It has a little Keratin in it. I apply it on my ends or on my ends and throughout. It's good for the whole hair length as far as I am concerned. After applying the TIGI Ego Boost, I apply a cream hair dress like Mizani Rose H20 or Profective followed by a light application of olive/castor oil. I have been using for over 3 months and I do not have a single split end. My last trim was the day I started using it. You don't have to use a lot. A light coating is enough. If you decide to use, please stay with it for at least 6 weeks. It is then that you will truly see the benefits. I had a fresh trim when I started so I know that it works because as I said I cannot find a single split end. When I braid my hair at night. I look at the entire length of the braid and their are no little hairs sticking out (a sign of breakage and split ends). Both Health Goddess and Ego Boost are amazing products!

I use it on a daily basis after washing. But not now because I am in braids
