For those that color: Matrix SoColor

Hey ladies! I really want to dye my hair and I'm considering going to the salon to get it done. Anyone have experience with Matrix Socolor? How was it and did you experience any damage? Did you dye all of your hair or just partial?

I want to dye my hair red but with different shades of red. I also only want to do certain section(s)(maybe just the top or front?) and considering hightlights.
