For those of you that LOVE Cantu Leave-in....???

What do you love so much about it. Everytime I use it, let feel sticky and leave my hair all tangled. I've even tried to doctor it up with oils and still the same result. I am about to trash it, but just wanted to make sure I wasn't MISSING something.

nope you're not... I have the same problem... I'll use it in a pinch because while ti's wet it will kinda detangle my hair...but the second it dries nasty city...it gets tangled and just dry and EW!

I found that I have to use VERY LITTLE of the product. About a dime size for my entire head or else my hair gets crunchy and sticky.

If I use a small size, it makes my hair very soft!

I didn't have any luck with Cantu either. My hair was a sticky mess.

Only use it if you need a protein boost. And use a tiny tiny bit. It's great for rollersets. Leaves your hair soft for days.

I liked it in my hair for wash and goes. It also makes detangling a dream. However, on my little cousins 4a natural hair it really did nothing but leave white residue in her hair.

The smell that's about it. It does leave your hair soft but you can only use it on freshly washed hair. It doesn't agree with other products. Sometimes I'd get white bits of crap all through my hair and then sometimes I wouldn't. It was hit and miss.

I only use a small amount of it. I probably use a dime about to keep my endz moisutrized and I seal with EVOO. It keep smy hair sooo soft!

The Cantu leave in made my hair dry and hard. I later learned that I can not apply any products that have cones. Cantu has a mean cone that is not water soluble and I believe that's why it doesn't work for me. I do sucessfully use cones when I flat iron, which is only a couple times a year.

I am in the bunning challenge, so I am not attemping to truely "style" my hair after I use it, but it lays down my edges like butter! It leaves me &dd's hair very soft and manageable. I use it daily and seal with coconut oil and I am good! I really like it, but eveyone is different. If you don't like it, trash it. I did notice before I started sealing with coconut oil, it would leave white streaks on dd's hair occationally. But since I added that, no more problems.

Thanks ladies for the input. Well it's definitely not working on my hair ( but per the comments, I may be using to much). I'll try it out on my daughter's hair tonight.

I used to use it on my demarcation line as i was relaxer stretching.

I have since moved on to protein condish applied with a spatula-brush to dry hair.
