ETA: Sometimes my kids will say stuff in public about my "weave" because they thinks its hilarious to see me get all mad LOL Doesn't help my cause

Yeah. Sometimes they ask and when I answer and they hear my accent I suddenly "don't count."

I like to wear my hair in braidouts and ponytails airdried. That way its textured. Typically people assume I'm natural thats why I have long hair. I tell them nope, I'm relaxed and my hair is long and its never been this long before and I dont have "good" hair (by society standards).

Probably... I'm pretty oblivious. I think people do because when it was shorter (bsl/mbl) I used to get more compliments and comments (though I was relaxed so I'm sure that was a factor)

I have had some people stare hard at my hair/head, they are probably trying to figure out if it's a weave.

so yeah people will probably think it's a weave/wig but if they say something you can always say no.
