I saw this notice on a couple of sites I was browsing:

I would agree w/that but it probably becomes an issue for the company on 'how those irons were acquired originally' and or if the irons are their authentic product or a knock-off. I used to buy PDA's from EBay because of the price the but the manufacturers don't honor the warranties because the products weren't purchased from an authorized retailer.

So, I understand from both sides of the fence. I'd just suggest doing comparison shopping or finding someone who works for a retailer and asking them to perhaps purchase it for you w/an employee discount.

Yes, you can get them in some salons.. I think Trade Secret too..but don't quote me on that..

Oh, Lawd!!! I got my CHI off of eBay. I got the Turbo version, so let's pray that everything goes well. Furthermore, I won't be using it often, only when my new growth needs a little taming... like now. Last relaxer was in September.
