Lovin'' All of Me
Ladies,

I'm hoping someone can help me out. My hair is well moisturized, but when I wear it in a bun (my staple), I still get "halo" hair - you know, the little hairs that won't lay down? I do have some breakage from my pre-LHCF days, but my routine is solid and working like nobody's business. I'm not sure why this happens. Any suggestions out there on how I can control this?

Thanks ya'll for your help!!

When I get fly aways I use Luster's Renutrients Slick Stick. It's like a wax/grease/balm that you can rub on your fingers and then onto your hair or you can just slide the stick over your hair. If you use too thick of a layer it will come off looking like cold lard lol but running a blow dryer over it for a few seconds will warm it up and leave your hair shiny. HTH

Try Edge Tamer by Keracare or Edge Define by Syntonics. A very light touch is all that's needed.

Thanks Ladies! Are any of these products available at Walmart, Target or Sally's? I live in the BOONIES and that's all I have available to me.

I get those too they just won't stay down. I always have a few by the end of the day. I just stopped fighting them  To get maximum sleekness I slick back wet hair with ecostyler gel.

Tying my edges down helps me. I had fly aways after having my hair straightened last night. Tied down over night with a silk scarf! Problem solved!

I got my Slick Stick from Rite Aid (A local pharmacy). But you should be able to find it in Sallys as well.
