I'm aware that some people have reported good results using rose water, especially for rollersets, rinses, cleansing and fragrance, but is anyone using any other floral water besides rose water?

Examples: honeysuckle, lavender, etc.

If you have/are please describe the way in which you use/used the floral water and what it has done/did for your hair. Thanks.

Hydrosols? I use them for my face. They're too expensive for my hair. I may try a dab in some Evian, but not straight.

If you can get a good bargain, try it. Can't hurt anything. I'd dilute it in some really nice water tho.

I use lavendar water in my shea butter mix to make it a little bit creamier. My hair loves it.
Hi Product Junkie. Do you keep your mixture in the fridge? I love rose water for my hair and skin but would also like to try lavendar. I will definately post if it works well.

What do you observe about the Lavender as a leave-in? Is it the only leave-in you use?

I usually use other things along with it (like cremes or hair butters), but I find lavender water to be a nice scented alternative to just plain water.
I know that lavender is supposed to have a soothing, calming effect. I like it.

Being the nosy person I am, I want to mountainroseherbs.com's hydrosols. They recommend rosemary for hair use, but after reading the calendula's benefits, I'm wondering if it would be good for those of us with irritated scalps?

I get mine from mountaintroseherbs. Right now, I'm using a leave-in made of aloe vera, rose water, lavender water, lemon balm water, and some plain old distilled water. The hydrosols I had were just odds and ends from various projects, so I figured I'd try something new. Oh, and grapefruit seed extract as a sort of preservative. I find that it over moisturizes my relaxed hair, so I'm thinking about adding some liquid SAA.
