I want to be sure I understand the difference.
Flexirods are the ones that look like

And curl formers are what?
I use some flexi rod type thinsg that have sponge inside, with the bendable wire and it's all covered in a satin material.

A few people who bought Curlformers had buyer's remorse because they could get the same results with flexirods.... For a $1,934 cheaper :look:

I'd go with flexirods :yep:

I think it depends on what type of hair you have. If you are natural, especially if you have tight coils that like to jump off rollers, then I say curlformers. If you are relaxed or have natural hair that you can get a pretty good rollerset from, then i'd say definately the flexi-rods. Of course whatever hair type you have, both would work, but for my natural 4a/b self, curlformers is the only way to get a smooth rollerset at home. HTH

I prefer flexirods, though I haven't tried curlformers. You can get a whole grip of flexirods on ebay (from seller duis6763) for about $20, curlformers are expensive. Also, with flexirods, you can do more with them - you can curl twists, large sections of hair - all without worrying about it pulling your hair out...I use them with natural hair and I use them on straightened hair. They offer more choices for styling (in my opinion)

I have been using flexirods since 2005 and still love them. I was tempted for a minute with the Curlformers but if it ain't broke don't fix it.:yep:

I've only used flexirods. Was going to buy curlformers until Marie170:grin: explained I would prob get the same results, glad I listened to her.

I love my flexirods

I agree with this. I'm 16 months post, and the Curlformers are the only thing that will get my natural roots straight as a board. With flexi-rods, I can never get close enough to the roots to pull them taut. It's probably operator error though.
