anyone know any cheap flat irons that get the job done just as good as the expensive ones?

Remember, you get what you pay for. If you have damage now too, I wouldn't recommend a cheapish one cause it might cause further damage.

i have a jilbere from Sally's for ~$40. It's ceramic coated plates, and works really well.

I have the same one, it's a one inch iron and it works wonders. I only go over each section ONCE and it's straight. I love it. I bought a solia a few months back and hated it. I had to go over each section atleast 3 times before it was straight and the heat was on max. I sent it back and got my money then just kept using my Jilbere.

:yep: I never would've thought that something so cheap worked so well. Jilbere was referred to me by the employee and another girl who uses it. I've only heard good things about it.
